I have been a smartnode user since the early days. Smartnode is a masternode for smartcash. To set up a node you need 10,000 smartcash as a collateral. You can read more about smartcash and smartnode at smartcash.cc.
As a node owner, I constantly monitor my node to make sure they are online. Luckily with smartcash you can use a bot to help me. The bot is available on telegram and discord.
I'm notified on my phone for any rewards and if my node went offline. Recently the bot has been upgraded to the latest version. One improvement to the bot is the ability to show your node history.
