Hello guys, I'm excited to let you know that I have started to up skill my sketching by learning calculated and proven process to draw Human anatomy, perspective, camera angle and the likes.
Prior to this time, I've know how to sketch with instincts. It's great though but it's time to leave the level of instincts to precision.
This way I believe I can model new and good looking characters of my own, it will also help in developing my fingers for making good storyboards as I have always had interest in it.
After watching tutorials, I decided to pick random pictures online for practice. I started with the front face and I think I did really well for a start, you can't imagine how much hope that brought to me.
I also decided to try a side view. My first trial didn't come out nice, I think the circle and lines weren't proportional enough. It looked like it's going to be a long face.
So I decided to start all other. This time, it came out better than the first one. I added more back head because the reference seems to have more of it. Then I processed to add the shadows. And the outcome was cool too.
Although I think I did better in the front face because I couldn't see more resemblance to the reference picture than the side face.
