Hello my dear Hivean friends!
Hope you are enjoying your Friday! I am having busy days at my new job, mostly learning and by my feeling I would say I am doing pretty well. Beside job and other real life stuff which in my case means mostly family, I have to take a bit of my spare time for my other family – Hive family.
I am thrilled about how well the community overall accepted me and how you are valuing my work. I am really pleasantly surprised when I see from 30 and all the way up to 50+ comments under my posts with most of them being constructive and very engaging. Thank you for that and huge thank you for all the support I am receiving from curation groups and individual curators.
I will do my best to continue to impress and share what I like the most – photography.
After a short intro, it is time for me to jump straight into new set of photos. I will share one of the most recent series I did. That was late summer time this year when I was at the seaside and did a stop at an awesome place in Croatia. I really miss summer, so that is why I decided for that today. But I am looking forward to some snow if we will be lucky to get it some. Especially Christmas time with show would be awesome for the atmosphere. We didn’t have snow on Christmas in Ljubljana for the last 20 years I would say.
Lets get back to that day when I visited Slapovi Krke National Park. To be honest, I don’t know if there is a translation to English, so I can explain what it means; Slapovi means Waterfalls and Krke is the name of the river (Krka). That is a beautiful place for a half day stop. Especially if you are on the way to Dalmacija region and you would like to take a little break from driving. National Park is quite well organized. You have several walkways from one hour trip to whole day exploring of the park. There is also a possibility of a boat cruise. Like I already mentioned we did a half day trip, or maybe even a bit less. Also we didn’t decide for a boat cruise at that time, so we might do that at some other opportunity. What else should I add otherwise, then that the nature is extremely beautiful and totally by my taste. You know I am a huge nature lover and even bigger water enthusiast.
My big wish is to visit Plitvice Lakes, which is probably no. 1 tourist attraction in Croatia. With few words I could described Plitvice as bigger and even nicer than Krka which I am presenting today. I have been to Plitvice when I was a kid and I will plan a trip there soon, but it is a bit more remote than Krka which is on the way to Split – Makarska – Dubrovnik…
I have to share another fun or sad fact…
Like an amateur, I had both my main and reserve battery for my camera empty on that day. So too bad I couldn’t enjoy in taking photos of such a beautiful landscape as I wanted but thanks God smartphone photography is decent, so I have at least something to share with you today. Every mistake cost something and hopefully that one will not repeat anymore and just the other way around my visit to Slapovi Krke National Park has to repeat again, soon!
Have a great day folks!
