This butterfly and bee magnet, the Guara Belleza, is a gardeners dream as it is easy and fast growing with a beautiful airy and long lasting display of dainty white, light or dark pink flowers. They are part of the Onagraceae family.
These Angel Wings are perennial and compact upright growers. They are water wise and hardy and can reach a height of up to 95cm and a spread of at least 55cm.
This shrub with its butterfly shaped flowers produce masses of blooms from the beginning of spring right through to the end of autumn. It has delicate five petaled flowers with prominent anthers born on tall branching stems and has narrow, lance-shaped/pinnately lobed green leaves.
They thrive in full sun, well drained compost enriched soil. They need to be cut back annually to retain shape.
They are generally pest and disease free, and drought and heat tolerant.
This beauty which is a native North American wildflower and is perfect for flower borders and beds, and an ideal choice for containers.
