Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog. El día de hoy vengo a participar en este hermoso concurso promocionado por la comunidad HiveArte el cual me emocionó muchísimo ya que está enfocado particularmente en la elaboración de adornos navideños realizados a mano. Me encanta este tipo de concursos ya que disfruto muchísimo elaborar todo tipo de proyectos en los que pueda poner a volar mi imaginación y además prolongar la vida de algunos materiales que quizá los hemos considerado desecho. Me gustaría invitar a mis amigas 
ÁRBOL DE NAVIDAD PARA ESCRITORIO. HECHO EN CASA.
No estaba segura cuál sería mi proyecto hasta que por alguna razón saqué la bolsa de retazos de foamis que tengo en la cesta. Son pedacitos pequeños que van quedando de otros proyectos y voy guardando por si acaso me son útiles. Resulta que allí estaban algunos retazos más grandecitos y pensé hacer algo con ellos. Después fui a buscar un palito porque tenía más o menos la idea de lo que iba a hacer. Me consigo un palito de bomba o globo que había usado para crear un recuerdo de comunión. A ese palito le había cortado la parte redonda de la base y se veia tal cual lo quería para mí proyecto. Como todo se me fue dando de maravilla puse manos a la obra y empecé con mi labor creativa para este concurso. Espero que les guste y sea útil para ustedes.
Los materiales que usé:

Procedimiento que realicé:
🎄 Tomé el foami verde y recorté varios rectángulos, cada grupo de rectángulos tiene una medida diferente. Como podrán ver los árboles de navidad tienen una forma muy característica, sus ramas inferiores son las más largas y las de arriba son las más cortas, entonces sin precisar una medida exacta fui recortando los primeros rectángulos, los medí en el palito y me gustó la medida. Luego seguí recortando el foami hasta obtener la cantidad de rectángulos necesarios para dar forma al arbolito.
🎄 A cada rectángulo recortado le realicé varios cortes en forma vertical, de esta manera cada uno simulará las ramas del árbol. Coloqué pegamento en la orilla no recortada e inmediatamente enrollé para dar forma. Dejé secar muy bien.

🎄 El siguiente paso fue forrar el palito con foami de color verde. Para ello recorté tres tiras de 1,50cm de ancho aproximadamente, coloqué pegamento en el foami a medida que lo iba enrollando en el palito. Forré la totalidad del palo. Este palo es un plástico fuerte, un poco grueso y ancho. Se puede comprar en las mercerías, piñaterías y confiterías, también en los comercios asiáticos.

🎄 Para armar el cuerpo del árbol lo que hice fue ir pegando cada ramita desde la parte de abajo del palito. Respetando cierta distancia fui colocando tres ramas largas. Usé silicón frío por si necesitaba moverlas se hiciera más fácil. Sobre esa línea de ramas, a medio centímetro más arriba y en los espacios vacíos fui colocando tres ramas más de las largas. Luego otra línea más y así fui cubriendo todo el palito colocando las ramas más largas primero y después los tamaños más pequeños hasta llegar a la cima y pegar las ramas más cortas.

🌟 Con el foami dorado realicé la estrella tridimensional para este lindo árbol. Usé un molde de aluminio en forma de estrella, lo presioné sobre el foami y luego las recorté. Necesité tres estrellas para tener lista la que coloqué sobre mi árbol. En la imagen que les muestro a continuación pueden observar cómo pegué las tres estrellas para hacer una sola. La hice grande porque quiero que resalte muchísimo esa estrella en el árbol.
🌟 La estrella la pegué en la parte de arriba del palito introduciendolo por el orificio que quedó en la parte baja de la estrella.

🎄🌟🎄 Teniendo listo el arbolito procedí con la decoración. Me gustó mucho el árbol sin adornos, pero decidí colocarle algunos pompones y también lucecitas. Al final me encanta como se ve con adornos.

I love this kind of contests because I really enjoy making all kinds of projects in which I can let my imagination run wild and also extend the life of some materials that we may have considered as waste. HOMEMADE DESKTOP CHRISTMAS TREE.
I wasn't sure what my project would be until for some reason I pulled out the bag of foamie scraps I have in the basket. They are little bits and pieces left over from other projects that I keep in case they come in handy. It turns out that there were some larger pieces and I thought I would do something with them. Then I went to look for a stick because I had more or less the idea of what I was going to do. I got a bomb or balloon stick that I had used to create a communion souvenir. I had cut off the round part of the base of the stick and it looked just as I wanted it for my project. As everything was going great I got down to work and started with my creative work for this contest. I hope you like it and that it will be useful for you.

Procedure I performed:
🎄 I took the green foami and cut out several rectangles, each group of rectangles has a different measure. As you can see Christmas trees have a very characteristic shape, their lower branches are the longest and the top ones are the shortest, so without specifying an exact measurement I cut out the first rectangles, I measured them on the stick and I liked the measurement. Then I kept cutting the foami until I got the amount of rectangles needed to shape the tree.
To each cut rectangle I made several cuts vertically, so that each one would simulate the branches of the tree. I placed glue on the untrimmed edge and immediately rolled to shape. I let it dry very well.

🎄 The next step was to line the stick with green foami. To do this I cut out three strips about 1,50cm wide, I put glue on the foami as I was rolling it on the stick. I lined the entire stick. This stick is a strong plastic, a little thick and wide. You can buy it in haberdasheries, piñaterías and confectioneries, also in Asian stores.

🎄 To assemble the body of the tree what I did was to glue each twig from the bottom of the stick. Respecting a certain distance I was placing three long branches. I used cold silicone in case I needed to move them to make it easier. On that line of branches, half a centimeter higher and in the empty spaces, I placed three more long branches. Then another line and so I covered the whole stick placing the longest branches first and then the smaller sizes until I reached the top and glued the shortest branches.

🌟 With the gold foami I made the three-dimensional star for this cute tree. I used a star-shaped aluminum mold, pressed it on the foami and then cut them out. I needed three stars to have ready the one I placed on my tree. In the image below you can see how I glued the three stars together to make one star. I made it big because I want that star to stand out a lot on the tree.
I glued the star on the top of the stick by inserting it through the hole that was left at the bottom of the star.

🎄🌟🎄 Having the little tree ready I proceeded with the decorating. I really liked the tree without ornaments, but I decided to put some pom poms on it and also little lights. In the end I love how it looks with ornaments.
