En esta ocasión yo utilicé el entrelazado para elaborar un pequeño cinturón para la #Barbie. Espero que les guste este tutorial y sea de su provecho.

Esta idea surgió en el momento en que le realizaba unos nuevos pantalones a la muñeca. Resulta que a pesar de que le puse una elástica en la pretina, el pantalón se veía aún un poquito suelto en la cintura de la Barbie, entonces se me ocurrió hacer un entrelazado con elástica y este fue el resultado. Ahora les voy a mostrar cuáles fueron los materiales que usé:

This idea came up when I was making new pants for the doll. It turns out that even though I put an elastic in the waistband, the pants still looked a little loose at the waist of Barbie, so I thought of making an interlacing with elastic and this was the result. Now I'm going to show you the materials I used:

MATERIALES./ MATERIALS.

Los materiales que usé fueron muy pocos:

• Banditas elásticas o ligas.
• Perlas plásticas #8
• Alambre de bisutería #24
• Aguja de crochet de 0,75mm.
• Palitos chinos (los que usamos para comer)
• Pinzas de corte y mandril.

The materials I used were very few:

• Rubber bands or rubber bands.
• Plastic beads #8
• Jewelry wire #24
• Crochet needle of 0,75mm.
  Chopsticks (the ones we use for eating) * Cutting and mandrel tweezers

PROCEDIMIENTO./ PROCEDE.

El procedimiento es muy simple y repetitivo, es decir, consiste en entrelazar las ligas y esto lo vamos a repetir hasta obtener el largo del entrelazado que queramos.

• El primer paso es colocar la liga dentro de la perla. Para que se haga más fácil podemos ayudarnos con un ganchillo de 0,75mm en caso de que su punta entre con comodidad por el agujero de la perla. Lo que haremos es pasar la liga dejando un extremo por fuera de cada hueco de la perla. Haremos este paso por la cantidad de perlas que necesitemos para lograr el largo del cinturón para la muñeca.

• Después que tenemos todas las ligas y las perlas preparadas empezamos a entrelazarlas, para ello yo me ayudé con los palitos chinos por la parte más delgada. Tal como ves en la imagen PRIMERO pasé una liga metiendo cada uno de los extremos por un palito. Al principio cuesta un poco porque debemos agarrar con una mano ambos palitos procurando que no se distancien mucho y con la otra meter la liga sin que se rompa.

The procedure is very simple and repetitive, that is to say, it consists of intertwining the garters and this we are going to repeat it until we obtain the length of the interlacing that we want.

• The first step is to place the garter inside the pearl. To make it easier we can help us with a crochet hook of 0.75mm in case its tip fits comfortably through the hole of the pearl. What we will do is to pass the garter leaving one end outside each hole of the pearl. We will do this step for the amount of beads we need to achieve the length of the belt for the wrist.

• After we have all the garters and beads ready we start to interlace them, for this I helped myself with the chopsticks for the thinnest part. As you can see in the picture FIRST I passed a garter through each of the ends by a chopstick. At first it is a little difficult because we must grab with one hand both sticks trying not to distance them too much and with the other hand to put the garter without breaking it.

• La primera liga la vamos a posicionar de manera tal que no quede tan abajo del palito, pero tampoco tan arriba para tener espacio para meter las otras. La SEGUNDA liga debe quedar muy cerca de la primera para empezar a entrelazar. Ya que tenemos estas dos ligas en los palitos entonces vamos a halar la liga del lado derecho y la vamos a pasar por encima del palito ensaltándolo para que la liga quede por dentro y por encima de la segunda liga. Así mismo haremos con la liga del lado izquierdo (la primera liga que metimos)

• Metemos ahora la tercera liga. Pasamos entonces la segunda liga por encima de los palitos para que quede encima de la tercera del lado de adentro. Siempre vamos a tomar la liga desde afuera del palito y estas van a quedar por dentro. Así vamos a repetir hasta alcanzar el largo deseado.

• The first loop will be positioned so that it is not too low on the stick, but not too high to have room to put the other loops. The SECOND loop should be very close to the first one to start weaving. Now that we have these two loops on the sticks, we are going to pull the loop on the right side and pass it over the stick, threading it so that the loop is inside and over the second loop. In the same way, we will do the same with the loop on the left side (the first loop that we put in).

• Now we put in the third loop. We then pass the second loop over the sticks so that it is on top of the third loop on the inside. We will always take the loop from the outside of the stick and these will remain on the inside. Repeat until the desired length is reached.

• El último paso consiste en sacar las ligas con mucho cuidado. De las dos ligas que tenemos en los palitos vamos a halar una y la otra quedará presionada en el tejido. En ese huequito de la liga que tenemos suelta colocaremos un seguro en forma de infinito para que cierre el cinturón, igualmente haremos otro del otro lado del cinturón desde donde empezamos el entrelazado. Para hacer este seguro usamos las pinzas y el alambre.

• Y así queda este bello cinturón para la Barbie. ¿Lindo verdad? Imagínatelo con perlas de nácar de cualquier otro color. ¡Sería bellísimo!

• The last step is to remove the rubber bands very carefully. Of the two rubber bands that we have on the sticks we will pull one and the other will be pressed into the fabric. In that little hole of the loop that we have loose we will place a lock in the shape of infinity to close the belt, we will also make another one on the other side of the belt from where we started the interlacing. To make this lock we use the pliers and the wire.

• And this is how this beautiful belt for Barbie looks like. Cute, isn't it? Imagine it with mother-of-pearl beads of any other color, it would be beautiful!
