Hi, I'm Lelys, welcome to my space. I'm going to share with you my most recent creation. I made an article for use in the office or at home.
Partiendo de materiales en desuso como lata y cart贸n pude realizar un lindo Portaobjetos que usar茅 en mi mesa de trabajo para colocar los clips, los chinches y los tacos de notas. Tambi茅n podr茅 usarlo para sostener eventualmente el tel茅fono celular.
Using disused materials such as tin and cardboard, I was able to make a nice object holder that I will use on my desk to hold paper clips, bedbugs and notepads. I will also be able to use it to hold my cell phone.
Los materiales para hacer el Portaobjetos son:
- Lata de at煤n vac铆a y limpia.
- Cart贸n grueso.
- Pintura al fr铆o.
- Pincel.
- Tijeras.
- Marcadores.
- Foami.
- Pegamento.
- Hoja blanca.
The materials to make the Object Holder are:
- Empty, clean tuna can.
- Thick cardboard.
- Cold paint.
- Brush.
- Scissors.
- Markers.
- Foami.
- Glue.
- White sheet.
El procedimiento para su elaboraci贸n es el siguiente:
- Empezamos recortando en el cart贸n un c铆rculo de 12 cm aproximadamente.
- Lo pintamos y dejamos secar. Esta ser谩 la base del Portaobjetos. El trozo de cart贸n tenia marcado el s铆mbolo de reciclaje por lo que lo pint茅 para resaltar.
- Dejar secar muy bien.
- En la hoja blanca corta una tira de 1/2 cm de ancho y cubre con ella todo el borde del cart贸n.
The procedure for its preparation is as follows:
- We start by cutting out a circle of approximately 12 cm from the cardboard.
- Paint it and let it dry. This will be the base of the Portaobjetos. The piece of cardboard had the recycling symbol marked on it, so I painted it to highlight it.
- Let it dry very well.
- On the white sheet cut a 1/2 cm wide strip and cover the entire edge of the cardboard with it.
- Recortamos sobre el cart贸n y sobre el foami un c铆rculo de 9 cm de di谩metro.
- Igualmente sobre el foami dibujamos y recortamos dos patitas, dos arejitas y una cola. Nuestra figura ser谩 una gata.
- Hacemos una tirita con el foami y lo pegamos en el borde del cart贸n.
- Con el marcador resaltamos los bordes de las piezas de la gata: patitas, cola y orejitas.
- Dibujamos la nariz, ojos y bigotes con marcador.
- Finalmente pegamos cada una de las piezas sobre el c铆rculo de foami (la carita) y luego pegamos todo esto sobre el cart贸n.
- Cut out on the cardboard and on the foami a circle of 9 cm in diameter.
- Also on the foami we draw and cut out two little paws, two earrings and a tail. Our figure will be a cat.
- We make a strip with the foami and glue it to the edge of the cardboard.
- With the marker we highlight the edges of the cat's pieces: paws, tail and ears.
- Draw the nose, eyes and whiskers with the marker.
- Finally we glue each of the pieces on the foami circle (the face) and then we glue all this on the cardboard.
- Tomamos la lata y nos aseguramos de que no queden filos cortantes.
- Forramos la lata con foami.
- Sobre la base de cart贸n ya seca pegamos un c铆rculo en foami de 12 cm de di谩metro.
- Con foami hacemos dos rollitos y los pegamos en frente de la gatita.
- Armamos el portaobjetos. Montamos y pegamos la lata sobre la base y la gatita la pegamos en la lata. Ver imagen final.
- We take the can and make sure that there are no sharp edges.
- Line the can with foami.
- Glue a 12 cm diameter foami circle on the dry cardboard base.
- With foami we make two rolls and glue them in front of the kitty.
- Assemble the object holder. Assemble and glue the can on the base and glue the kitty on the can. See final image.
Una vez ya seco estar谩 listo para usar.

All photos were taken with my MotoX phone. I edited with Polish. I used Deepl translator. I had a lot of fun doing this project. I loved it. Very useful for tidying up our desktops.
