Hola amigos, deseando que estén todos muy bien. El día de hoy les quiero mostrar lo que tejí ayer en la tarde. A mí me gustó el resultado. Quiero tejer algunos otros ya que comprobé que el patrón está bastante fácil y no es tan aburrido tejerlos.

Hace unos días les presenté al pollito azul, después les mostré a la mamá del pollito azul y les mencioné que haría también otros pollitos para que la familia aumente y para que el pollito azul tenga hermanitos. Pues bien aquí están los hermanitos del pollito ya terminados.

Hello friends, wishing you all well. Today I want to show you what I knitted yesterday afternoon. I liked the result. I want to knit some others since I found that the pattern is quite easy and it is not so boring to knit them.

A few days ago I introduced you to the blue chick, then I showed you the mother of the blue chick and I mentioned that I would also make other chicks so that the family would grow and so that the blue chick would have siblings. Well, here are the finished siblings of the chick.

Empecé tejiendo uno de los pollitos para ir viendo de qué tamaño quedaba. Al terminar cada pieza comprobé que el tamaño era justo el que yo necesitaba, entonces empecé a tejer el otro. Es un tejido sencillo o básico. Se tejen dos esferas, una más grande que la otra, la esfera que forma el cuerpo tiene como detalle que en dos vueltas de aumentos hay una variación en los puntos, esta variación hace que se forme una parte ondulada o medio puntiaguda, es lo que le da forma a la colita de pollito (que parece pato)

I started knitting one of the chicks to see what size it was. When I finished each piece I checked that the size was just what I needed, then I started knitting the other one. It is a simple or basic weaving. Two spheres are knitted, one bigger than the other, the sphere that forms the body has as a detail that in two rows of increases there is a variation in the stitches, this variation makes a wavy or half pointed part, this is what gives shape to the chick's tail (which looks like a duck).

En medio de la elaboración del primer pollito hubo cortes de electricidad. Sin embargo continué tejiendo hasta obtener todas sus partes. Después aparté el tejido y me acosté a descansar. Más tarde salí a donde una amiga quien me pidió ayuda para vender los hbd que tenía en su wallet. Fui hasta su casa y al regresar empecé a tejer el segundo pollito. A pesar de que tejí los dos usando el mismo patrón, el segundo pollito se ve un poco más pequeño. Por eso digo siempre que cada pieza tejida es exclusiva. Jamás idénticas.

In the middle of making the first chick there was a power outage. However, I continued weaving until I had all the parts. Then I put the fabric away and went to bed to rest. Later I went out to a friend who asked me to help her sell the hbd she had in her wallet. I went to her house and when I returned I started knitting the second chick. Even though I knit both using the same pattern, the second chick looks a little smaller. That's why I always say that each knitted piece is unique. Never identical.

El pollito azul lo tejí inspirada en uno que tejió mi hermana. Ahora me inspiré viendo a una tejedora que sigo en Facebook. Ella tejió para entregar como recuerdos algunos pollitos amarillos más pequeños. Me parecieron tan lindos que inmediatamente pensé en hacer varios para tener disponibles. Yo pensaba que tejer en serie podría ser entretenido y divertido. Hace tiempo tejí varias proyectos para vender y todos eran para entregar en fiestas infantiles. Había que tejer varios del mismo modelo y les cuento que me aburría. Así que solo en esos casos yo me daba el permiso de ocuparme de dos proyectos a la vez, el tejido en serie y uno aparte para variar.

The blue chick I knitted inspired by one that my sister knitted. Now I was inspired by watching a knitter I follow on Facebook. She knitted some smaller yellow chicks to give as souvenirs. I thought they were so cute that I immediately thought of making several to have available. I thought serial knitting could be entertaining and fun. Some time ago I knitted several projects to sell and they were all to give out at children's parties. I had to knit several of the same pattern and I can tell you that I got bored. So only in those cases I gave myself permission to take care of two projects at the same time, the knitting in series and a separate one for a change.

Los materiales que utilicé para tejerlos son: hilos de crochet de 1mm, aguja de crochet de 1,60mm, algodón para rellenar, ojitos de seguridad, aguja lanera y tijeras.

The materials I used to knit them are: 1mm crochet threads, 1.60mm crochet needle, cotton to fill, safety eyes, wool needle and scissors.

Los gustos no han cambiado mucho. Pero sí quiero tejer varios pollitos para tenerlos disponibles y ofrecerlos cuando alguien los requiera. Espero que te haya gustado este lindo proyecto.
