As promised on my sandwich recipe post of yesterday...here I am with the Green Mango Pickle recipe that I made some days back!
Here in Mauritius, nearly in each house you will find some different types of mango pickles! Let me show you how I made mine! Enjoy it!

Green Mango Pickle
To make this yummy pickles, you will need:
- Peeled green mangoes.
- Grated green mangoes
- Vegetable oil
- Honey
- Chili powder
- Pickle mix - Achard
- Garlic paste
After grating the mangoes, put it to sun dry for a whole day, just to take out extra water!
After the one day in the sun, mix the grated mangoes with the honey, chili powder, garlic paste, pickle spice mix, salt, little sugar and oil!
Transfer the pickle in a nice container which can be closed!
Cover and reserve in the fridge for 24 hours!
I also added some green chili in it for a spicy note!
You can enjoy the green mango pickle the next day!
I had it in my sandwich...and it was just super yummy!
