It’s pretty awesome! 😄 She has quite a few hair and makeup clients and they pay a pretty nice penny for the latest looks. With me being her daughter-in-law I can pretty much get any style and get my makeup done anytime I want for free.
I crochet her whatever she wants in return, although she doesn’t expect :) She now wants me to make her a supply apron to keep her combs, brushes and scissors in. After she saw the egg apron I made she immediately asked lol!
It truly is a blessing having a beautician in our family. We don’t have the extra finances to be able to enjoy privileges like this. Although I don’t go out to too many places it’s always nice getting a fresh new do and look from time to time. Everyone wants to feel refreshed right? 😉
We went to a wedding last weekend so I wanted my hair to be jazzy. I love these box braids because they are lightweight and you can wear them all kinds of ways. The best part of it all is I don’t have to comb my tresses for a few weeks.
I told my husband I would do better with making myself up from time to time. It’s very easy wearing pajamas all day and not combing my hair because I’m at home with my kiddos. Maybe some days I’ll just pretend we have places to go and then I’ll get made up like this more often. 👌🏽😄
