Hello, Hivers. Good day to everyone in whichever country this blog reaches today! Today I will write about our twelve adorable ducklings, but their mother is a chicken.
The reason their mother became a chicken is that when our chicken laid eggs, we had no idea where it went; we only found out when it came out of its nest near the somewhat forested areas here with us and had a lot of eggs, so it got wet in the rain because it only had grass.
So, my husband decided to replace the chicken eggs with duck eggs because it would be a waste if she where's still incubating her wet eggs. Because at that time it was still raining a lot, do my husband bought fifteen duck eggs, but he only replaced them with twelve eggs, the same number of chicken eggs.
We waited 21 days for the eggs to hatch, and I was overjoyed when the twelve duck eggs hatched: three black, nine yellow. My son is happier than I am because he is enjoying watching the ducks, hehe.
After the chickens and ducklings come out, they stay in the grass and in the shade, and the ducks like to be near water, so wherever the ducks are, the chicken is also there.
My son enjoys being near them, but I won't let him touch the ducks because the hen might peck him. I just let him get closer when their mother is far away.
My son chases the ducks, they run away too.
They are looking for food here.
Look how adorable they are π
They stayed in the shade of the tree.
Actually,my niece and nephew were surprised when they saw that the ducks' mother was a chicken, they called it "Astig!' hehe.
I am so happy that all the duck eggs that my husband replace the eggs of chicken survived; we have a chance to have even more ducks when they grow up and lay eggs. Yeehey!!
That's all for today, I hope you like my blogs today. I just want to say Thankyou for your unwavering support of my post, Peace and love. π«Άπ»
