God's design for sustaining His values and purposes on earth is through generational transfer. He expects one generation to teach the next, passing on His truth and values. This is how legacies are preserved and nations are built.
But this leads us to a solemn question: What hope really exists for our children today? Sadly, many children are growing up in environments that threaten their potential. They are exposed to poverty, violence, kidnapping, abuse, hunger, lack of education, inadequate healthcare and broken homes.
Any child growing up under these circumstances is a child at risk, unable to fully realize their God-given potential. In a moral society, children should be protected, nurtured and equipped for the future.
As parents, they have a duty to recommit to raising children in the fear and knowledge of the Lord. As Christians, let us disciple and mentor the next generation intentionally As citizens, let us hold leaders accountable and advocate for policies t prioritize the well-being and education of the children.
