The path to sustaining this earth has not been easy but as God's people, we are called to contribute meaningfully to the shaping of our world. If the Church is to make the impact God intends, you and I must be willing to get involved, spiritually and morally.
God desires to partner with His people in the affairs of nations. Abraham was not only a man of faith but also a man God could trust with revelation. As believers, we are called to be watchmen over our cities, communities, and nations. But when watchmen fall asleep or become spiritually blind, these enemy gains ground.
Yet when we are alert, spiritually sensitive and prayerful, God reveals His plans to us so that we can respond in prayer and action before crises unfold. Abraham interceded for Sodom and Gomorrah because he had a personal interest there, his nephew Lot lived in the city.
Likewise, God expects us to care deeply about the condition of our nation. To make an impact, we must be believers of character and integrity, people who can engage society without being corrupted by it.
Unfortunately, much of the Church today has been influenced by a "materialistic mentality," losing focus on the values that once defined true discipleship. For the Church to transform the world, it must return to biblical principles, nurturing strong, Spirit-led Christians who can stand for truth, justice, and righteousness.
