I've heard of Hive account@steem-bounty. In fact, I've received a few bounty rewards from it, but I had no idea there were other services attached to it, like the Steem Vote Exchange Club.

An initiative by Hive account@knircky and Hive account@famunger, the service basically allows users to exchange their upvotes with other users with similar upvote values. "Like for like" and all that. This way, you'll still be helping your posts while you help others.

In other words, it's much better behavior than self-upvoting. You still get the same upvote value, but at least you're interacting with others to get it. And unlike delegating, you're still in control of your Steem Power.

My Experience, so far

Here are my account overview and activity log, as of today...

Even though I just joined today, you can see that I already received 6 upvotes for my 6 upvotes. Not bad, right? I would have gotten more upvotes, if I had more active posts since the service monitors all active posts of its members. Cool, right?

Aside from the upvotes, it's also a great way to get your content in front of new users. So, those looking to build their following could benefit from this, too.

No upvotes wasted

What I'm really digging about the service, though, is that every vote you give out will be matched with an equal vote. The service's matching engine makes sure of that. So, if your voting power is high and your vote values go up, the votes you receive will also go up to match your upvote. This way, everyone gets their fair share.

Based on what I've seen, so far, I think I'll be continuing with this service. I still have to test my voting limits to see where I should best set it at, like with my SteemAuto settings. After all, as helpful as automated votes are, I still want to save some voting mana for manual votes.
