Hey guys! Today we have sent out our first round of funding from Hive account@crypto.charity to our 4 listed distributors. I know $60 isn't a lot, but it's a start and I am quite happy with our effort considering this was our first ever fundraiser! Below I will explain where this $60 is going.

Short Summary of Distributors

Firstly, this article gives a pretty good description of our distributors, but we have since removed one and added another distributor to our team!

• Hive account@drmaizo: "I'm going to make donations to offer food to children from a foundation. The foundation works with the instagram account: @alimentalasolidaridadmcy, we support children who have already studied with (suffered from) malnutrition."

• Hive account@reinaldoverdu: "Help people in need who live near where I am that like me suffer from diseases, diabetes, hypertension and have other diseases. The ladies that I show in the video that they have a sewage boat in front of their house, that has me very worried and I plan to give them all the help that I can".
  Some funds will also be used by Hive account@reinaldoverdu himself as he is also in a very dire situation, but he's able to just keep afloat with the help of Steemit.

• Hive account@joseph1956: "The first thing will be buying food to distribute to those who need it, preparing bags with several of them and if it is enough money medicines for chronic or hypertensive patients"

• Hive account@carlagonz (Hive account@oneopportunity): "I have decided to direct the social work of Oneopportunity towards educational institutions in low-resource areas, giving special attention to the population of children with special needs.
  I went to several institutions and chose one located in the area of ​​Maracay, the clover.
  I chose this institution due to the great deterioration of its facilities. At this time the children are already leaving school because they are finishing the school year, Tuesday is the graduation party and I would like to support them with some snacks and games. for the next phase we will help the institution with the reconstruction of its physical plant, and if it is within the possibilities we will help with school materials to the parents of these children since they are of very low resources.
  to continue this project we could take two routes.
  *1) help and participate weekly after beginning the school year in September at this educational institution.
  *2) Support another institution in the physical plant and school supplies for the new start of the school year."
  Hive account@carlagonz will be attending the graduation ceremony tomorrow, hopefully she'll be able to snap some pictures for us of the children.

How Much Funding Each Distributor Received

I sent a small amount of Steem and SBD to Hive account@crypto.charity to round up the numbers. We will be sending 20% of the Steem and SBD to each distributor and keeping 20% as reserve. Therefore, each distributor received 7.8 Steem and 4.6 SBD each. In the future, based on the performance of each distributor the weighting may be altered!

Distributor Requirements

A post within the next 7 days containing:

• picture proof of how funding was spent
• invoices if applicable
• optional: include a logo of Steemit, your username and Hive account@crypto.charity

Future plans

• Delegations: we will start looking for delegations shortly, a more formal post will be coming soon!
• Auto-vote: we will be looking for applications for our auto voter soon
• Raffles: we will be starting another raffle soon, if anyone is doing their own raffle or something like that we would appreciate a small portion of your funds going to Hive account@crypto.charity
