Hello everyone,
I am back with another blog on Hive blockchain.
Today I want to share one of the videos that I recently uploaded on my YouTube channel. In that video, I explained how anyone can start their blogging journey on Hive blockchain using the Ecency frontend.
I created this tutorial because when I first joined Hive, I noticed that many people might find the process confusing if they are completely new. So I decided to create a simple step by step guide covering everything from creating an account for free to storing your keys safely.
If you have a friend who is interested in blogging, crypto, or blockchain, feel free to share this tutorial with them.
Why I Think Hive Is Still Worth Joining In 2026
I have only been on Hive for about seven days, so I am still learning many things.
So far, I have published three posts and explored different communities on the platform.
Could I post more often?
Probably yes.
But I do not want to post just for the sake of posting. I would rather write about things I genuinely enjoy and have something to say about.
One thing I realized very quickly is that Hive is not the platform for people who want to make $100 on their first day.
If that is the expectation, then people might end up disappointed.
What I think Hive is really good for is building connections with people who share similar interests.
For example:
- If you are an artist, you can find communities focused on art.
- If you are a gamer, you can find gaming communities.
- If you are into crypto and blockchain, there are communities for that as well.
The key is to find people with similar interests, interact with them, and become part of the community.
That is where the real value comes from.
What About The Hive Token?
I am not giving financial advice here, but I personally find Hive interesting from an investment point of view as well.
From what I have seen, Hive is trading much lower than where it traded in previous years.
Because of that, I think there is room for recovery if the overall crypto market becomes strong again.
Social blockchains are still not very popular among mainstream users.
If they become more popular in the future, then platforms like Hive could potentially benefit from that growth.
Of course, nobody knows what will happen, but that is just my personal view.
Hive Is More Than Blogging
Before joining, I thought Hive was mostly about blogging.
After spending some time here, I realized there is much more happening.
You can find:
- Gaming communities
- Play to earn games
- Crypto communities
- Photography content
- Art communities
- Educational content
There is something for almost everyone.
One project that caught my attention is Splinterlands.
I have seen many creators posting about it, and it looks quite interesting.
My plan is to learn how the game works, create a video about it on my YouTube channel, and then share my experience here on Hive as well.
If you want to join Hive blockchain for free and learn the basics, then make sure to watch the tutorial video I shared above.
I tried to keep it simple and beginner friendly so that anyone can follow along.
As for me, I plan to continue sharing content related to:
- Hive blockchain
- Cryptocurrency
- Market analysis
- Blockchain projects
That is the type of content I already create on my YouTube channel, so it makes sense for me to share it here as well.
If you would like to stay updated with my crypto content, you can also check out my YouTube and Telegram channels.
Thank you for reading, and I will see you in the next blog.
