Stock markets closed today with weak signs from the global markets. The Sensex fell by 173.70 points, or 0.45 percent, to 38,722.93, and the Nifty climbed 46.60 points, or 0.40 percent, to end at 11,691.90 in early trade.
Midcap and Smallcap stocks declined :
Mid-caps and smallcap stocks have seen a decline in today's trade. Bse The midcap index was 0.26 percent and the smallcap index closed 0.34 percent lower. Nifty's MidCap 100 index ended 0.33 percent down.
Bank Nifty Fall Down:
Banking, auto, pharma, IT The decline has been observed. Bank Nifty closed 194 points down at 27834 level. In addition, Nifty Auto 0.52%, Nifty Pharma 0.16%, Nifty IT Has recorded a drop of 0.40%.
