My VPN's pinger, a small program that indicates if I do have an Internet connection or not, is always indicating red all night. It just means that I am not connected. I do get a momentary connection when I get the blue color and I just hurriedly upvote and engage to my friends in my post as fast as I can until I lose connection again.
I am close to crying about my Internet and it makes me so frustrated and sad about it. I am also close to getting a postpaid Internet and I will do it now so I can get at least a decent connection with a much better signal than what I am using today from my current ISP. Recently I saw a postpaid option with a 500 GB data and I would pay about $32 dollars for it monthly. It really isn't my personal want but a need to get connected as I need to steemit everyday as well.
I think everyone would agree that Internet is not only a part of our lives now but it really is our life. Without the Internet I wouldn't be able to get some help from my friends around the globe and save myself from all of my medical burdens. It is just like magic when we get to communicated instantaneously without borders within our convenient places thanks to a system on worldwide interconnection of computers invented by great minds in the US military.
Right now there are technologies out there that is in use that we would only see and hear and maybe experience only after ten years because it was always like that. The technologies that we use today are just remnants of a series of developments that would root around the US military experiments. Somehow they contributed good things to humanity but sadly was being used as a puppet by corrupt political interests.
In my country I am proud to share that my country's president is expediting the entry of another Internet Service Provider that will operate in the third quarter of next year. It means that our current oligarch-monopolistic Internet service providers will get a formidable competition that will possibly lower the Internet costs that mw fellow countrymen pays.. So it is a good news because the good political will of President Duterte.
At least now I could look forward into something promising about my country's Internet service and it will indeed result for the better in the ives of my fellow countrymen because the Internet had gone to be a basic need that should always be in arm's length away when we needed it.
