Nepro is a lactose-free milk food supplement which is a complete meal designed particularly for Chronic Kidney Disease and Dialysis patients with the former a high protein content so that it could help replenish lost nutrients and protein compounds after dialysis.
It comes in different flavors including butter-pecan and vanilla and not sweet at all that it won't hurt your throat like from sweet milk product. Some patients doesn't like it because of its thick consistency as well as the taste which for myself is appealing. Maybe I am just tired of my usual meals and this is just a great substitute but I can live off this product as it gives me satiety and energy all throughout the day without being hungry.
So I like this product very much but it doesn't come cheap though and I have to pay around four dollars for just one serving of 237mL can. If only I could buy two cans a day then I would never even bother eating anymore which is just a work in itself more often for me because of the physical structure of my mouth which had been disfigured by my rare bone disorder.
I would ask my mother to go to the drugstore in a few days so that I could restock my supply of this needed food supplement so that I could fulfill my dietary needs as a dialysis patient now that I have some problem in eating because of my reduced appetite.
