I got the bout of chills today during dialysis. I actually had felt "funny" or restless about an hour after being hooked up at dialysis so my plan of having my meal got earlier because I thought that I only was getting hungry at that point.
Fortunately I was able to eat well and my meal was good because it is still hot when my mother gave it to me. Then the nurse went to me to get my blood pressure reading. It went normal from 150 to 120 until in the 3rd hour I was already getting so restless, a prelude to chills.
Normally I would get the headaches but I didn't because I am not anemic thank God but I started to yawn a lot already because the chills is causing my BP to crash.
Chills by the way is the reaction of the body to infection. I did get the infection because our dialyzers here are reused rather than being replaced every use. My dialyzer was already in its 8th reuse so it caused my infection.
After trying to raise my BP to at least to the 100 level it still stayed to 60 so they have to stop my session one hour before it suppose to end. I just agreed because I could not endure those factors like a very very low BP and infection characterized by the chills and restlessness. II still feel not okay today after sleeping.
