I just disliked eating salty foods but only in particular. Generally I would not prefer eating salty foods and in fact i do not use dips such as fish sauce dips or soysauce unlike my father who couldn't put food in his mouth without dipping it first into the fiah sauce and it is the main reason that he has a high blood pressure.
Years ago when I was showing signs of my kidney disease my mother had put me into her strictly no salt and with tons of water to drink diet. She scolds me when I would eat or put fish sauce into my food. My food got so bland that it really is unpalatable plus I had to drink really lots of water and it made an imbalance in my system that my fingers began to crack.
My strict no salt diet went on for years from my late high school and until I do not know for how long. It is funny that when I get to abruptly stopped going to college to go for a vacation into my grandmother's house, my aunt would cook separate foods for me and I lived there for about four months!
Then when I realized that I just do not have to eat salty foods instead of a normal mixture of seasonings for my meals I begun to eat normal foods again. But by that time I do not have the taste for junk foods anymore. I tried to eat some but it is just unbearable for me now.
But I do eat dried fish but with rice as a viand but you cannot see me adding seasoning into my food, just the normal seasoning is right for me unless the dish is really bland-tasting. But right now as I have learned that salty foods makes me thirsty and raise my blood pressure, I would just try to avoid it especially the junk foods, they are really bad for me.
