Day 25 and day 26 of 80 Day Obsession Workout Program
Well, Day 25 and Day 26 in the books. Another hard one, but I kinda enjoy the hard work. Yesterday was Day 25 which was leg day. If you have been following my journey, you see I kept my weights on everything the same. It was very challenging, especially the two rounds! Day 26 was Cardio Flow, which was pretty rough but I pushed through. Yes I know, I haven't really posted lately, I have been sick but I am better now.
My Favorite Moves
I would say my favorite moves of Day 25 are the squats and the hip hinges. I’m not sure why, but I can always do squats quite easily, so it’s a move that always makes me feel strong. It's hard to explain, but it’s part of my workout that always gives me joy when I finish it. I think the reason I like the hip hinge move is that it reminds me of a deadlift, which is one of my favorite moves to do. The reason I like this kind of move is that I do them so much better than I do cardio. Strength training is always my favorite part of any workout because it makes me feel so strong and I can really see the improvements. Cardio, on the other hand, is a big weakness of mine and I always do it very badly.
My Least Favorite Moves
My least favorite moves for Day 25 was the curtsy lunges and reverse lunges. Reverse lunges I have always struggled with; they kill me every time. However, I pushed through, got them done and even stuck with the weight I started with, which surprised me.This time I didn’t have to drop the weight, which made me feel so proud of myself. Curtsy lunges I also dislike; I’ve never been good at this move and adding weights just made it harder. I’m not sure why but while you are in phase one, it’s a pulsing curtsy lunge, and it's very hard but I kept the weight this time. It was really difficult to do it for three rounds. Even though it felt like torture, I kept pushing through.
So I keep my weights same, how did it feel?
As you can see in the workout sheet above, I used eight pounds for most of the exercises. I was feeling strong today, so I keep my weights the same. I didn't go too crazy because I wanted to make sure I had good form. So, for the exercises that I know, I can do at 8 pounds with correct form.. Even though that doesn't sound like a lot, I definitely felt it. It was a struggle but I pushed through and felt very proud of myself. As I’m typing this I can feel the difference in my glutes. Tomorrow will be interesting, I may well be quite sore. No matter what program you are following, whether weights, cardio, yoga, or walking, remember, never give up! In the end, it's worth it. I have lost five pounds already while following this program, and I’m looking forward to pushing on and discovering what’s possible!
Are you doing any workouts or following a certain workout program?
Does it involve bands?

Does it involve weights or a mixture of both?
