Politeness Week commences!
Each day a phrase to help you be more polite when using English. Are you ready??
Would you mind + ing form is a much nicer way of asking for something.
e.g.
Would you mind bringing me a coffee NOT bring me a coffee (even with a please)
Would you mind not smoking in my presence? NOT don't smoke in my presence
This construction has two variants, but the other one tomorrow :)
