Hi everyone!
I am happy to inform you about a great success of Czech archaeologists who recently made a very important discovery in Egypt. The Czech archaeologist team led by the renowned Egyptology expert Miroslav Barta found a large limestone tomb and grave of a prominent officer who lived in the Fifth Dynasty (at approximately 2400 BC) in the town of Abusir in Northern Egypt.

Further survey of the site found out the man´s name was Kaires and that he was a very important and possibly favorite officer of the king. Kaires´ titles even suggest he might have actually been a high-ranking minister.

The discovery of Kaires´ tomb is not the first major achievement of Czech Egyptologists though. Several other significant discoveries have already been made by Czech archaeologists who rank among the most respected Egyptologists in the world.
