I am very happy and excited to inform you that Steemit, our beloved platform, has finally reached the long-awaited milestone of 1 million registered accounts. What a great news it is for all of us here on Steemit! Reaching this impressive number in such a short time only proves how amazing and attractive project Steemit it. I am confident this platform has what it takes to become the greatest social network in the world and I am sure more tremendous achievements and milestones will follow soon.

Some two months ago, I decided to host this special tipping contest where competitors could submit their tips on when Steemit reach the 1-million milestone so I can finally announce the winners. I received over 200 entries but after checking them, I found out there was just one person whose prediction was right.
The lucky winner who predicted that Steemit would reach 1 million accounts on May 16 , 2018 is nobody else than
