Condensation of sentiment.
Atmospheric nostalgia, the truncation of memory
& a false testament. Memory that gives
A false estimate. Fond remembrance,
Dismembered intricate, yearning
For the glinting bit nestled
In the pure center of
Prismatic wit.

Writ of radiance,
Tales of recovered pearls
Satiate sorcerous desires.
All who inquire are redirected,
Towards the meandering reroute deflected,
Until adventuring bores its partakers,
Washed-out actors, thirst-slakers
Who discern the hopeless task
Of becoming the character
Portrayed behind
The mask.

Mountainous, Monumental
Gargantuan, Gigantic.

Terms inadequate to convey
The breadth of disappointment
Intuited in the disillusionment
Of the former hopeless romantic.

Crawling out the cavern of
Hallucinatory antics, lightheaded,
Dizzy with distortions abated of late—
Retropecting in whimsy on phantasms recanted
& the formerly fond sentiment chasms which
Now appear grotesquely slanted, in
Triumph: immune to the
Previous prate.
