My Brother Mike called and said that he and 2 of his kids were headed down to Baja to see if they could get lucky and find some waves and asked if I wanted to join them. My son Race and I went down with them and ate tons of tacos because the surf was tiny.

The first hotel is Cueva del Pirata. It is an interesting place where the fishing boats launched and brought back crab. The second hotel was a pleasant surprise called the Cactus Hotel in Rosario Mexico. Each hotel only cost about $40 a night. The breaks we surfed were Punta Baja and Casas.
