Could it indeed be easier than we think to read the minds of others?
At least their actions (body language, tone of voice, eye movements, etc) can be observed to give us a general assumption of what their real thoughts/intentions are.
The chart above gives you an idea of what is typically occurring in regards to brain activity and it’s relation to eye movement.
There is one way for some easy proof that eye movement actually is connected to brain activity, that is a quick observation of someone sleeping. You usually can see, even when the eyes are closed, they move rapidly during dreams. Now we may not actually be able to see which direction the eyes are moving, since they are closed. This keeps us from being aware of exactly what the brain is doing while dreaming. However we know the mind is at work, and also know we are all capable of dreaming. Our dreams are composed of our own thoughts, experiences, ideas, etc. So it makes sense why our eyes may be looking around so much even though we are asleep, accessing certain archives.
I invite you to pay more attention to your own eye movements. Once you start seeing some confirmation yourself, then perhaps make an attempt to read other people.
Comment below if you already have knowledge of this and how it has effected the way you communicate.
