If you are not aware I started running a witness node a bit more than a month ago.
Here is the announcement post.
More than a month have went by since then and I wanted to give a short information about some data for my witness in the period.
Here it is:
- Number of blocks produced 138
- Number of blocks missed 10
- Number of witness votes 71
- Hive Power voted 3.1M
I’m not totally happy with the number of missed blocks. This is mostly because of some issues that the Privex servers had for one day and I missed most blocks in that day.
The good thing is that since then everything is running smoothly, and I don’t have any missed blocks at all. I will continue to keep a close eye on the performance and have more options on a side if needed.
In terms of witness approval, I’m happy with the initial response and support I got.
