Este post es para mostrarles algo que me tenía emocionada, creo más a mi que a mi novio, aunque lo compró él jaja, ya llevamos varios años coleccionando los album de mundiales anteriores y este año no iba a ser la excepción. Es muy fácil de conseguir porque en muchos quioscos de los barrios los venden, también en tiendas de juguetes o de colecciones y aunque los precios son un poco elevados pienso que vale totalmente la pena si te gusta la colección.
This post is to show you something that had me really excited—I think more so than my boyfriend, even though he was the one who bought it, haha. We’ve been collecting albums from past World Cups for several years now, and this year was no exception. It’s really easy to find because they sell them at many neighborhood newsstands, as well as in toy and collectibles stores, and even though the prices are a bit high, I think it’s totally worth it if you’re into collecting.
Un albúm y 3 cajas de 50 paquetes (que cada uno trae entre 6 y 7 figuritas), fue necesario para casi llenarlo completo, el precio del álbum fueron 15 euros pero no es el de tapa dura, las cajas si fueron un poco más costosas, eran 75 euros cada una, pero pienso que con 2 es más que suficiente ya que luego te toca buscar quien puede cambiarte las repetidas, que es lo mas tedioso te todo esto pienso yo.
It took one album and three boxes of 50 packs (each containing between 6 and 7 stickers) to almost fill it up completely. The album cost 15 euros, but that’s not the hardcover version; the boxes were a bit more expensive, at 75 euros each, but I think two is more than enough, since then you have to find someone to trade the duplicates with, which I think is the most tedious part of the whole thing.
Pegarlas la verdad es lo menos laborioso, mi novio como es un poco psicopata jaja me hizo sacarlas todas del paquete, organizarlas primero por equipos, luego por orden numérico y al final por Grupos, así fue como pudimos en orden agilizar el proceso de pegarlas y con menos estrés. También teníamos más controlado cuales eran las que nos faltaban y cuales estaban repetidas. Sí, es un trabajón.
Sticking them on is actually the easiest part. My boyfriend—who’s a bit of a control freak, haha—made me take them all out of the package, organize them first by team, then by number, and finally by group. That’s how we were able to streamline the process and make it less stressful. It also helped us keep track of which ones were missing and which ones were duplicates. Yeah, it’s a lot of work.
Al final fueron 3 días bastante divertidos, tomábamos de nuestro día un par de horas, nos colocábamos un podcast y preparábamos alguna bebida deliciosa o snack, se pasaba el tiempo más rápido y aunque yo lo hice con mi pareja, si tu lo haces con amigos o familia creeme que vas a tener luego, a parte de un álbum de colección, los mejores recuerdos con ellos. Totalmente recomendado.

In the end, it turned out to be three really fun days. We’d set aside a couple of hours each day, put on a podcast, and whip up some delicious drinks or snacks. Time flew by, and even though I did it with my partner, if you do it with friends or family, trust me—you’ll end up with not only a keepsake album but also the best memories with them. I highly recommend it.
