15 years ago I wanted nothing more than to get out in the world and leave Sweden for something new and exciting. I was tires of life in Sweden at the time and often found myself complaining about things I thought would be better elsewhere. Now after 15 years I'm back and I'm appreciating so many things about Sweden which I took for granted before.
I remember for example that I used to complain about the cold here. Now I find it fresh and invigorating, and it's actually quite cozy in a way. More importantly I appreciate the blue clean air. Having endured my fair share of smog and polluted water I now appreciate these things here which others take for granted.
Life is all about contrast. That's why you won't necessarily be more happy living in Sweden, unless you can see the positive aspects about it.
The fact is that most people complain a lot in Sweden, because they have gotten too spoiled. I'm glad not to be like that anymore and that I can appreciate life here to the fullest.
