Almost like a science fiction scene from a futuristic movie where pollution is out of control and we all have to wear masks. Only it's the reality in many cities in China. This photo was taken of the cityskape in Shanghai by the Bund.
The Chinese government is making big efforts to curb the pollution and it is now slowly improving. But switching from being a producing economy to becoming a service high technology focused economy is no easy task. Especially not when you have the biggest population on the planet. I have seen amazing changes take place here and I am sure that soon the environment will change as well.
