“Sow your seed in the morning, do not withdraw your hands in the evening for you do not know which will be good either one or both”---words of the teacher “Cast your bread upon the water for after many years you will still find it. Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land.”---words of the teacher.
It is going to be a very brief article with something to take home. I can even say the few lines above are life transforming. Growth is like sowing a seed, it will need you to commit something; self building, learning, unlearning, exposure, time investing, meeting up with new people, taking up a course, discovery, academics, entrepreneurial exposure, faith and whatever. You will sacrifice; it was a scripture I was sharing this evening with a friend of mine in the faith. She asked a question of what was and what is special about this great man of God. I was led by the spirit to start expanciating on some scriptures with her and all of a sudden, my spirit clinged to the anchor talk in Isaiah 55:1 “Isaiah 55:1 “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.” Scriptures need spiritual discernment to interpret.
Did you see something spectacular about that Bible verse? Those ‘who had no money were called’ but the criteria was to ‘come, BUY and eat’. I thought they had no money already? This is when one can delve into other transactional currencies. Maybe a wide topic for another day.
One week and three days and the stress is showing. I am not that chubby type so when I get too engaged that I forget to at least drink some water on time, it is likely to show. Keep my faith with God strong, be a good entrepreneur/manager and also meet up with education. It seems this will be my target for the next three and a half years as God may permit.
I had to be in the study center today to wrap up some things but I couldn't. There was a student teacher class I tried to arrange for my colleague and I and it ended up a flop. His late response when getting close to the scheduled time he said he was doing something that will take him some time to complete. I felt discouraged at one end and also an opportunity on the other.
I could spend that time in the office to get some jobs out. I will also be able to meet up with our planned church meeting. Not too bad but I will have to risk extra school stress to meet up with this. In short, I was supposed to get this article out in the morning but I found myself engaged in this or that.
To summarize the day, it ended up with me not meeting up at the study center while being able to meet up with other things. Quite fortunate that we’ve been able to solve part of the educational challenge when I decided to put heads together with a colleague this evening. Personally, at first I felt I was going to plead with our supervisor tomorrow to extend time but it seems with God assisting us, we will summarize and sum up all three remaining courses. I am positive about passing.
