You've probably heard it a thousand times before - time is the most valuable asset, time is money, time is precious because you can't get it back ... and all of those things are true.
As I have thought about christmas presents for my family, I came to the conclusion that time is actually the best present that you can give someone (ofcourse, only if they *like* spending time with you.)
For example:
My Grandma is 80 years old. She has a house, a car, a mountain of books, clothes that she likes, beauty stuff, candles, picture frames and other grandma-things.
So what could I possibly give her as a christmas present?!
Apart from her already having anything, she could buy literally anything she wants herself.
Of oucrse I asked her, and she didn't have a wish. She was content with everything she already owned.
So what do I give her then? Time. My time.
I think as we grow older, we realize more and more HOW precious time actually is.
And when someone has reached my grandma's age, they've already seen everything, done everything... but sadly, they're often lonely since everyone around them is so busy but they have a lot of free time now.
