There will always be something beautiful to learn or do in every day, even if the waters get very rough or even if the sky gets cloudy for so long, we will always find something good to do.
I like the way my art journal is turning out, it gives me an incredible sense of peace every time I see it because I know there is a lot of intention put into it. It is my greatest tool for personal improvement and I am very grateful for that.
This drawing is from yesterday, it's a little elf (we already know where the intention of drawing her comes from) I've been watching the Lord of the Rings movies over and over again for several days and, yesterday I really wanted to draw something that I felt could be part of that fantastic world.
You already know that some days ago I decided that the art journal should have the drawings pasted and not made directly on the page, in my personal opinion it looks much more beautiful that way, I like to see my work that way, although I'm running out of ideas for backgrounds (I should invest even a little bit in some backgrounds).
For this drawing I used a 2H pencil and I helped myself with a cotton swab to make the shading in the drawing. I still don't really know how to draw hair, I'm still learning, although I don't dislike my drawing at all, I know I must improve.
All the references for my drawings I get them from pinterest, I find it a page with a lot of variety of resources for drawing and also I usually get inspiration from it to make some future pages of the artistic journal.
At the end of the day this is one more type of craft, I really like the term scrapbook which is directly linked to the crafts, I may make an interspersed between drawings and scrapbook in the future, I don't know.
I've been looking at some programs to learn how to draw digitally, it would be amazing really, I always like to be learning constantly. So well, without further ado, I leave you with the process and I'll see you next time, I send you lots of love.
