Wendell Pierce: es un actor de amplia trayectoria, personalmente lo conozco de otras series que han sido muy buenas y que quizás muchos de ustedes cinéfilos lo hayan visto también, como por ejemplo en Chicago P.D., Numb3rs, Third Watch, Law & Order, The Michael J. Fox Show, Suits y The Wire, siendo estas dos ultimas mis favoritas y las que creo fueron sus mejores actuaciones, pero sin duda en The Wire fue extraordinario, así que podemos ver por su trayectoria, que es un actor muy vinculado a papeles relacionados al mundo de la ley, policías y espiás. Su papel en Jack Ryan es la de un espía con muchas conexiones, pero despiadado, que viene a ser el jefe de Jack, pero termina siendo su compañero, amigo y protector, su actuación es bastante parecida a la de sus otros trabajos.
My final opinion
If you are a lover of spy series, surely this is for you, but if you are a little tired of the rhetoric where the United States is the super power that fights against evil and always ends up winning, then don't even bother to watch it, because is a series that enhances the patriotic sense that this nation has, and what they believe is the fight against evil, but there is a double standard, when trying to sell an agency like the CIA, as a charity, but that the Ton Clancy himself criticizes in his novels.
Si eres amante de las series de espiás, de seguro esta es para ti, pero si estas un poco cansado de la retorica donde Estados Unidos es la super potencia que lucha contra el mal y siempre termina ganado, entonces ni te moleste en verla, porque es una serie que realza el sentido patriota que tiene esta nación, y lo que ellos creen que es la lucha contra el mal, pero existe una doble moral, al tratar de vender una agencia como la CIA, como una institución benéfica, pero que el mismo Ton Clancy critica en sus novelas.
The first season is undoubtedly the best, although the topic is somewhat trite, stopping Muslim extremists attacking the United States, the development of the action and its riddles in the spy game make it entertaining, nothing compared to the second season that for me left much to be desired, trying to exploit the well-known Venezuelan conflict, but with weak scenes, secondary characters with little strength and presence, very different from its first installment that strove to humanize the protagonists and antagonists.
La primera temporada sin duda es la mejor, aunque el tema es algo trillado, detener a extremistas musulmanes que atacan a los Estados Unidos, el desarrollo de la acción y sus acertijos en el juego de espiás la hacen entretenida, nada comparado con la segunda temporada que para mi dejo mucho que desear, tratando de explotar el muy conocido conflicto venezolano, pero con débiles escenas, personajes secundarios con poca fuerza y presencia, muy distinto a su primera entrega que se esforzó por humanizar a los protagonistas y los antagonistas.
