We were at an event called PJ Festival 2017 a few months ago organised by an property company. It was a food truck/music fest/property sales gallery event and we were one of the food trucks that were invited.
We served our signature cheeseburgers on the day and managed to capture some shots of our burgers. So here they are 😊
Our 145g in-house ground beef getting a hard sear and cheese being melted!
We use a ratio of 80:20 lean meat to fat for our patties. If you're wondering what's that beneath the cheese, it's a slice of Cameron Highland tomato. An idea one of our outlet managers suggested back when we started our food truck coz he realised that the when eating our burgers our tomatoes tend to slide off the buns. So thus a new technique was discovered and probably we're one of the only ones using it. Safe to say we're claiming it for ourselves and calling it the "Zhou" technique - naming it after him.
Rows of orders ready to serve (with cheesy nachos compliments of the organisers to the participants of the festival)
Trust me. He was more desperate to take a picture with us than us with him 😂
(me, standing next to him and my comrade Max, taking the picture)
I'll be posting up a short video on the cooking of our patties. Still learning Dtube functions. So be sure to tune in shortly!
