Hi, my name is Dan, I'm a huge car nut and I'm known for always being a helpful hand when car customization and upgrades are invoved. I've been thinking of branching off and maybe introducing social media sources to maximize profit, steemit made me finally decide to give it a go!
Anyways, I'm currently working on four personal vehicles. This can get very expensive due to my OCD and need to do everything right lol. Today I'm going to introduce you to my 95' Nissan 240sx s14.
The car had not started in months, was sanded down for paint and then abandoned. Once I got it I tried everything I could to fix the electrical issues. I got the car running and drove it for a while, however the engine wasn't optimal for my end goal so I decided to go with a JDM SR20DET. It already had some goodies such as an ISR manifold and a 2871r turbo, but I decided to go with a bigger fuel pump, injectors and MAF sensor as well as an RS enthalpy tune.
It wasn't all straight up though. After the first start up the car ran for 15 seconds and it never ran since. The chassis wiring harness had been badly damaged previously and took the ECU with it along with all the ignition related wiring....
This car quickly went from a simple swap into a fully fledged project, but that's how they always go.
This is how she sits right now, after a year of getting the hard work done I can finally get started putting it back together! I'm going to try to update y'all a couple times a week on the progress. I already have plans for the next two posts as well as several cars around the community which I can share with you.
