To noobs, it might look like a clone of the Browning Hi Power.
First introduced in 1975, the CZ 75 is a pistol made in the Czech Republic by Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod (CZUB) that has both semi-automatic and selective fire variants. It is one of the original "wonder nines". A wonder nine is a term for any semi-automatic pistol that is chambered in 9mm Parabellum rounds and has a staggered column magazine, as well as a double-action trigger for at least the first shot.
The CZ 75 featured a staggered-column magazine, all-steel construction, and a hammer forged barrel. It has good reputation among pistol shooters for quality and versatility at a reasonable price.
The CZ-75 is now in service with Czech police. It is also used by the Turkish police, and by several U.S. police departments. It is widely distributed throughout the world. It is the most common handgun in the Czech Republic. For most gun experts, the CZ-75 is one of the best combat pistols in its class.
