Mostly due to the terrible weather we've had recently and being stuck indoors a lot, I've been brushing up on my Cinema 4D. Its a 3D modelling and rendering program I used to use a lot but only really as a hobby. I seem to go through phases of being really enthusiastic and wanting to really pursue it, and then I usually get distracted by other software or other creative outlets like photography or music production.
So anyway over the last few days I was feeling enthusiastic about it so started dusting off the cobwebs. I also recently got a new toy that makes this stuff a lot of fun, a 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse Enterprise. Its basically a cool gadget for navigating 3d workspaces in a really natural and intuitive way that just makes this stuff a lot more enjoyable.
I've been mostly trying out different lighting and material types and I put this little scene together that I thought a few Steemians might like. Be sure to check out the full size render.

This is how the scene looked within Cinema 4D, before rendering it out.

Just in case its of any interest ao anyone here's my desk while working on it. You can see the SpaceMouse on the left side of the Dell Canvas. Having the Canvas is a really nice help too as I can have a render preview on display while still working away on the main screen.
Hope thats of interest to a few people. If it it please leave a comment or upvote as I do really enjoy this stuff and would be happy to share more if you guys like it.
