The hike started with some easy elevation gain, typical for most any hike. Followed by elevation loss, which is not as typical, but not rare either. The loss was about half the gain, give or take. As I descended, the lake became more visible. Here are the first couple of photos of Crandell Lake, located inside Waterton Lakes Park. First thing that caught my attention was the nearly turquoise coloured water. Super beautiful to gaze at! Felt like jumping in for a swim, but I didn’t. Maybe I should have? I always imagine going for a swim in these kinds of situations, but never act upon it. Thanks for stopping by.
