♥ THE QUEST FOR THE AGHARTA KEYS ♥
¡Hola a Todos! En la última publicación les mostré el contenido de un cómic breve de 3 páginas, ahora les mostraré el proceso de la portada.
Hello everyone! In the last post I showed you the content of a short 3-page comic, now I will show you the process of the cover.
Principalmente, cuando el cliente contactó conmigo, me dejó claro que quería una estilo de caricatura, junto a eso, me explicó que quería que la portada hubiesen 3 elementos: una llave mágica y dos guerreros con ansias de poseerla. Así que empecé a bocetear y tras 2 modificaciones, se eligió la propuesta de arriba.
Mainly, when the client contacted me, he made it clear that he wanted a cartoon style, along with that, he explained that he wanted the cover to have 3 elements: a magic key and two warriors eager to possess it. So I started sketching and after 2 modifications, the proposal above was chosen.
Agregué dos gigantes de piedra a cada extremo, pues esto ayudaría a que la llave tuviese una connotación más imponencia, de fuerza, que los espectadores sepan que hay algo especial en esa llave como para ser custodiada por esos inmensos guerreros.
I added two stone giants at each end, as this would help the key to have a more imposing connotation, of strength, so that the spectators would know that there is something special in that key to be guarded by those immense warriors.
Probé muchos colores, hasta que empecé a destacarlos en un espacio diferente, donde hubiese gravedad, una luz cálida y fría para el fondo y con un filtro azul/morado para armonizar todos los colores de la portada.
I tried many colors, until I started to highlight them in a different space, where there was gravity, a warm and cold light for the background and with a blue/purple filter to harmonize all the colors of the cover.

Disfruté mucho realizando esta portada, particularmente no había tenido alguna experiencia haciendo portadas para libros, comic, manga o algo por el estilo, así que esto fue algo nuevo para mi de lo cual aprendí mucho. En los siguientes días estaré publicando más de lo que he venido dibujando. ¡Gracias por apoyarme! ♥
I really enjoyed making this cover, I hadn't particularly had any experience making covers for books, comics, manga or anything like that, so this was something new for me and I learned a lot from it. In the next few days I'll be posting more of what I've been drawing, thanks for supporting me! ♥
