Monday animal photography: Ferdinand ?

In the south of Portugal and Spain, they can be seen running free, in the countryside.

This is the wild bull (Bos taurus), the descendant of a extinct ox called aurochs (Bos primigenius), who lived in freedom on the forests of Europe, Asia and Africa.

Today, the wild bull it's breeded in the Iberian Peninsula, exclusively to participate in the famous bullfights, so popular in the two Iberian countries.

I don't agree with the tradition, but I admire the animal, which have undoubtedly a stately beauty!
