This was a compilation over the weekend. We have a several days of public holidays crashing in this week and the coing week. Since it is also school holiday, we decided to pack everything and leave Kuala Lumpur so we can spend some time with the kids.
Before the actual trip taking place it was the havoc weekend we had to anticipate. I started my Saturday morning as usual, a long walk a the park. Wilst doing my walk, I am also responsible for thinking through what's need to bring during the holiday we've been planning for months.
After the full day at home doing chores, we went t attend sunset mass in town. One of the main reason I choose this church, and especially sunset mass is because this is probably one of the very few churches that doesn't do the cha-cha with their musical instrument. I like music, I just prefer a more solemn proceeding.
After church, we went to dinner with my god parents ad his family as well. We took a long drive, slightly out of the way from where we usually drive homez and had a dinner at the mall. It's so cute that the restaurant made an iceteddy bear trying to climb out from the tea.
Don't worry about the bear, it will fall back into the drink once the bear paw melted 😂 what I enjoyed the most was this plate of pan fried - roasted pork with garlic. Technically it's the type of "left over roadst pork" being used to own fry with garlic. Set dinner also complement with tea and a huge bowl of spicy and sour mustard leaf(with pork), technically this is the Chinese version of adobo 😂
Snday was a little heavy since I had a blast the night before, with the amount of roast pork in the system, I can feel the medication is fighting within my body. Trust me, it's absolutely NOT feeling any good. Nevertheless, I still managed to climb the damn hill with the assist of my walking sticks.
And I also started to get the gist of it. I was complaining that I couldn't get my heartbeat up after I've started medication. Now that I realize the blood thinning medication does change how my body react to stress, so I push it a little harder. My walking is now even faster than many jogger, which pushing towards 8 kilometres per hour. I think for brisk walking, and my short legs, this speed is way above and over many 5'6 guys. I'm not proud of it, but now I can finally have a slightly normal heartbeat a an average 135bpm.
There was an event in the afternoon which I have took some pictures of it, but it was stuck with my other phone which is now charging, and I'm too lazy to walk over and copy the photos from that side. Perhaps next time I will make a dedicated post about that event. Right after the event, me and home minister both are very hungry. We went to one of our favourite restaurant for porridge.
I think within 10 minutes, the pile of sper hot claypot porridge were gone. The tofu is so soft, the fragrant egg taste so good, and the salted egg, so... High cholesterol 😂 overwhelmingly, even the home sister who choose to eat braised pork rice, had to ask me share a slice of tofu with her.
The day concluded as I am preparing to hit a few more buttons as I was playing with #drugwars the Blockchain game. This is probably one of those very few occasions that I hit more than 20k steps in a day.
