What I feel: I was reminded of an outlandish treatment for laminitis, performed in 1938 without today's technology, but effective ... so with a lift and sling...
She's a full-grown pony, and my new baby.
Her owner gave up and left her. “Those infected hooves will never heal.”
I put her in the sling and on my lift and suspended those heels in running water during antibiotic treatment.
She's now recovering, five days into her new life!
