Good morning Steemit!
My name is Deepak Agarwal. I'm from Hyderabad (India), a place known for its biryani, pearls and the IT industry. I currently work as a business consultant with a Singapore-based firm. I have a master’s in international business from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona. Put these 2 together, it should tell you that I love to travel and I love new technology!
Here’s what you should expect me to write about in my blog:
TRAVEL
Obviously, I’ve been in over 25 countries - some for work and some for travel but I like the fact that in most countries I have been able to really stay for a few weeks to experience the local culture rather than traveling as a tourist which is not always as much fun. I love to pick up a bit of the local lingo as well; I think it helps us connect with others better.
I should add that Poland remains my favorite country, like a second home - it was the first country I visited outside India and I have plenty of fond memories of the times spend here. For work, I typically travel across various Asian countries which is always exciting especially if I can find time over the weekend to hike the mountains, go scuba diving or snorkeling or simply explore the town. I definitely plan to write about that.
I'm also an amateur photographer so stay tuned for some photos as well.
TECHNOLOGY & CRYPTOCURRENCY
Technology and design is also a big area of interest and I think cryptocurrency is definitely the most exciting thing happening right now in the tech world. So expect me to write about cryptocurrencies, exciting new technologies and products. I've written a couple of posts on this already so please do share your comments.
EURO BOARD GAMES
You can definitely call me a board game geek - some of my all time favorites include Puerto Rico, Castles of Burgundy, Catan, Dixit, 7 wonders, Terra Mystica, Power Grid, Lords of Waterdeep and Tzolkin. If you're a board gamer, you know its a big addiction. And a good one, it helps you take time off the screen and interact with people around you which is important in the times we live in.
I look forward to stay connected with the community and write about the above as well as any random thoughts about life in general. Appreciate your comments and upvotes on my posts!
Cheers!
