Is it just me? I think it may be. Whenever friends fuck about with those stupid filters that their camera apps give them, it feels like they are wiping away part of their personality. They look bland, robbed of those beautiful lines and blemishes that make them who they are. I feel like telling them not to do it. Hell, I feel like developing a computer virus that fucks up all that hideous, personality-robbing software. But other people, they say shit like "you look so healthy, so fresh" (or other bollocks)... which only encourages the recipient of such "compliments" to continue lying about themselves with apps that make their eyes bigger and their lines and blemishes disappear.
Is it just me? Or is the world seriously fucked up? I say, love your wrinkles, love your face exactly as it is. Stop trying to look like some dim bimbo out of Cosmopolitan magazine! These are hardly the sort of women you should be emulating!
