Up a bit earlier today, around five thirty or so. Doing my morning routine and checking the crypto markets, I noticed a HUGE spike in the price of Steem! I guess people are buying up in the hopes of getting more Hive (Honey?) in the airdrop.
I’ve been moving some tokens around, and selling some off to get a bit more Steem for the airdrop as well, but I’m keeping it liquid for now. If nothing else, I should be able to use it to buy some DEC or something since SE seems to be staying on Steem for the time being.
There’s a lot of activity over in the Discord channels. Buzz, buzz! Several big exchanges including Binance and Huobi have said they will support the fork.
Right now, my particular concern is the airdrop to the exchanges (and Justin moving 3.6 million Steem over to Binance - likely to try and get that many Hive for free). This poses a threat to the new chain already, but the controlling witnesses want the big exchanges regardless of the fact that they participated in the takeover in the first place. 🤬
Despite the fact that it was looking like it was threatening to rain, I went out for my walk. 😀 Squarely above five kilometers, so it counts for sure! 😝
Not too bad temperature wise, and the wind was barely blowing, but it did decide to start raining about three kilometers in.
Mr. Chubbles was only mildly concerned about my presence today. I suppose he figured I wasn’t coughing, so maybe I was alright. Still, not taking chances. 😷
How about that for a twofer!! 😄 The robins are robinning, so you know it’s springtime, without a doubt.
Not one win the whole day. Not a SINGLE win the entire day!!! 😡🤬 So, I obviously didn’t complete my arena task for today.

Today my Steemmonsters quest was Death splinter again, but I switched and got Earth. 🤗 For a minute there I could see Diamond, but it wasn’t yet to be.
I completed the quest in Gold I with a potion charge. Been a while since I got a gold card...really love that Silvershield Assassin, but still need two more of them to make it usable (my regular one is a level above - with poison 😃), and I got enough DEC to get another potion for today, so I don’t have to worry about it.
