Das Bitcoin-Netzwerk ist jetzt zur Hälfte im aktuellen Halbierungszyklus, der im April 2024 begann. Wenn das Netzwerk Block 1.050.000 erreicht, voraussichtlich im April 2028, sinkt die Blockbelohnung von 3,125 BTC auf 1,5625 BTC pro Block.
Bei jeder Halbierung verringert sich die Menge an neuen Bitcoin, die in Umlauf kommen. Derzeit erzeugen Miner ungefähr 450 BTC pro Tag. Nach der Halbierung im Jahr 2028 wird die tägliche Ausgabe auf etwa 225 BTC sinken.
Die Halbierung ist in das Bitcoin-Protokoll fest eingebaut und findet alle 210.000 Blöcke statt, etwa alle vier Jahre. Dieser vorhersehbare Zeitplan für die Ausgabe ist ein zentrales Argument für Bitcoin als knappes digitales Asset.
Da bereits ungefähr 19,7 Millionen Bitcoin von maximal 21 Millionen gemint wurden, werden die Halbierungen für die verbleibende Ausgabe immer wichtiger. Über 98% aller Bitcoin werden bis 2030 gemint worden sein.
Die erste Halbierung im November 2012 reduzierte die Belohnung von 50 BTC auf 25 BTC. Die zweite Halbierung im Juli 2016 senkte die Belohnung auf 12,5 BTC. Die dritte Halbierung im Mai 2020 brachte die Belohnung auf 6,25 BTC. Die letzte Halbierung im April 2024 reduzierte die Belohnung auf aktuell 3,125 BTC.
In jedem dieser Fälle fanden die größten Kursbewegungen von Bitcoin etwa 12 bis 18 Monate nach dem jeweiligen Halving statt.
Da der Countdown nun bei 50% steht, bleiben noch etwa zwei Jahre bis zur fünften Bitcoin-Halbierung.

Mein persönliches Fazit:
Ein Jahr nach dem letzten Allzeithoch des Bitcoins beginnt der Bitcoin-Frühling. Das heißt, dass es im Oktober dieses Jahres wieder Zeit ist, aus Stablecoins auszusteigen und in Kryptowährungen wie Bitcoin und einige Altcoins zu investieren.

My personal conclusion:
One year after Bitcoin's last all-time high, Bitcoin's spring is beginning. This means that in October of this year it's time again to exit stablecoins and invest in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and some altcoins.
