My wife and I just got home after spending the past couple nights at Bear Lake. We had an amazing time together and it was nice to be able to just relax and get away together with no real plans. We spent the majority of the day yesterday watching football. It sucks that the Raiders ended up losing, but they have had a rough season. Hopefully next season things go a bit more in their favor.
When we left this morning, the air around Bear Lake was really foggy and it looked pretty miserable. I would hate to live there because of how ugly everything looks in constant fog, but I guess in the summer time, it is a pretty hopping place to be.
Once we started climbing up in elevation out of the canyon, we got up above all of the fog and the sun burst through the fog and it was nothing but blue skies. It was nice to get out of the bad air quality in the valley we live in. The cold, clean mountain air was really refreshing and there were a lot of people snowmobiling along the road as we drove through the canyon. I bet they were having so much fun. I have never been snowmobiling, but it looks like a ton of fun. I would most likely end up crashing the snowmobile somehow and get hurt though because that is how my luck goes.
We are getting things unpacked and then going to watch the Cowboys game and root for 's team. Hopefully they can make it to the Super Bowl this year now that the Raiders are out of the running for it. I have never watched a football game on Nickelodeon, so this could be pretty entertaining. Anyways, thanks for stopping by and checking out my photos from our drive home. I hope you had an awesome weekend.
